Advanced Clinical (iMSW Hybrid Program)

The Advanced Clinical concentration equips individuals to do direct practice in a variety of areas, such as; hospitals, schools, mental health facilities, child welfare and adoption agencies.  This concentration is delivered in a hybrid manner: using online technology and face to face weekend sessions.  Policy and research courses are taught as fully online courses with weekly evening collaborate sessions.  Practice courses are designed as hybrid courses with online learning and face to face sessions on the weekend.  The face to face component is typically 4 Saturdays each semester or 2 Saturday/Sunday sessions.

Advanced Standing Program

The Advanced Clinical Advanced Standing program is a total of 44 credit hours of advanced coursework, which includes a one semester internship.

Traditional Program

The Advanced Clinical Traditional program is a total of 72 credit hours. This program incorporates the foundation coursework and a two semester internship for those without a Bachelor of Social Work degree from a Council of Social Work Education accredited institution.  Students begin early to middle May with their first course in the iMSW Traditional program.
