The Field Implementation Support Program (FISP) is a performance-outcome workforce development model that trains, coaches and reinforces the practices of the Illinois Child Welfare Core Practice Model. The underlying components of FISP deliverables are Family-Centered, Trauma-Informed and Strength-Based practice.  FISP works in collaboration with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and Purchase of Service (POS) Agencies to implement, coach, support the transfer of learning, and install the principles of the Core Practice Model inclusive of the Model of Supervisory Practice, Child and Family Team Meetings, and Family-Centered, Trauma-Informed and Strength Based Practice.
