This is a temporary extra help position for 20-30 hours/week to provide coverage for duties typically assigned to the program coordinator (while we are hiring).  The duties for the temporary position will be based on skills and amount of time the employee is able to work (range 10-30 hours/week).  Preference will be given to qualified applicants able to work 30 hours/week. Expected length of service is approximately 3 months. This position will be responsible for program coordination, communication and support, and Student and Site Recruitment and Communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Communication/Coordination/Support (60%)

  • Provide administrative support to PI and team, work with Excel spreadsheets, monitor BHWELL email and mailing list accounts, develop promotional materials, assist with developing promotional outreach materials and social media presence, create newsletter, maintain BHWELL calendar, schedule team meetings, record minutes and maintain documentation for grant requirements.

Student and Site Recruitment (40%)

  • Represent BHWELL at student recruitment events, follow-up with students, process applications, follow-up with interested sites (agencies) and process site applications, collaborate with others in SSW in student affairs and field office as needed,  contribute to RCQI on outreach efforts, suggest and implement outreach strategies, maintain contacts, monitor data tracking, create reports.

Education requirements: BA or BS degree. BSW or MSW preferred.

Experience requirements: Project management, working on teams, proficiency with Microsoft tools and ability to learn Zoom, Qualtrics; experience working with community stakeholders and students in higher education settings preferred.

Knowledge requirements:  Outstanding organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is essential (Word, Excel, PPT, Skype, Outlook).
