Young Adult Health Across the Lifespan: Policy and Practice

Join us on Friday, April 19th from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the iHotel in Urbana, IL.

Featured Keynote Speaker:  IL State Senator Omar Aquino

This FREE educational event is planned by Social Work HEALS students for students and faculty in partnership with local and state stakeholders to discuss young adult health and wellness, advocacy, and financial literacy. While many other developmental age groups receive special attention regarding their health concerns, young adult healthcare issues are often overlooked. At this conference, you will be able to examine health issues that are specific to the young adult population and learn how you can advocate for beneficial legislation.

This conference is organized by University of Illinois School of Social Work Health Education and Leadership Scholars (HEALS) program scholars in collaboration with other SSW students, faculty, and guests.
