Lough Awarded Best Quantitative Article of 2013
Congratulations to Assistant Professor Ben Lough. His article, “Measuring International Service Outcomes: Implications for International Social Work Field Placements” was selected as the Best Quantitative Article of 2013 in the Journal on Social Work Education. He and his coauthors will be receiving an award at the 2013 CSWE Annual Program Meeting in Dallas. The article will also be available until March 2014 for free viewing and downloading. According to CSWE, the criteria for choosing the Best Articles published in JSWE include: (1) the importance and timeliness of the content, (2) originality of thought and innovative conceptualization of the topic, and (3) presentation of conclusions and/or recommendations that add significantly to the professional knowledge base and to social work education.
