Social Work Room 2015

As a rapidly emerging field, implementation research focuses on myriad contemporary issues, from child abuse and neglect to HIV prevention to substance abuse treatment to many other social issues and disorders. Dr. Pinto will bring together theories, practices and empirical evidence from the field of HIV prevention to highlight key issues in implementation research and current issues related to de-implementation of evidence-based practices. A Community-Based Participatory Research expert, he will explore methods and practices that can improve implementation research and practice.

This event is free and open to Illinois faculty, Social Work alumni and interested community members.
