Service Learning for NTU Students

The School of Social Work has welcomed seven students from National Taiwan University (NTU). During the week of June 26th, students completed an orientation where they learned about the University of Illinois, the School of Social Work and surrounding communities, and they were able to tour the university campus. The students were also able to visit the sites in which they will be completing their service learning opportunities. Those sites include, Boys and Girls Club, Circle of Friends, DREAAM House, Courage Connection, Champaign County Regional Planning Commission and DSC (Developmental Services Center). In addition to their daily service learning requirements, students will complete a class focused on social work in America. This passionate group of students will be on campus through August 4th, 2017. To learn more and to experience their adventures, you can follow their Facebook page, “Lucky 7 at UIUC.”
