Social Work Student Day of Service

The School of Social Work will be holding a Day of Service during National Volunteer Week

We will be working with local non-profit organization, Courage Connection, to assist with activities such as lawn maintenance, mulching, weeding, planting flowers, and indoor cleaning.

  • WHO: School of Social Work BSW, MSW, and PhD students
  • WHEN: Friday, April 15th from 9am-12pm
  • WHAT: Assisting with lawn maintenance, mulching, weeding, planting flowers, and indoor cleaning for Courage Connection
  • HOW: Register
    Registration deadline is Monday, April 11th at 5 p.m.

Courage Connection provides housing and supportive services to homeless women and children and domestic violence survivors in Champaign County. Registration will be capped at 30 students, so please register ASAP if you are interested. All participants will receive a free t-shirt!
