This session fulfills 3.0 hours of the Clinical Supervision requirement for LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois
Participants will explore the philosophy of Servant Leadership and how it can support supervisors in helping professions. Discussion and examples of how to intentionally implement the key principles of servant leadership in daily supervisory tasks will be included. This interaction training will include activities to explore personal supervisory style as well as personal practice of the servant leadership style. Fulfills 3.0 hours of the Clinical Supervision requirement for LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois.
Learning Objectives:
- Develop awareness of the servant leadership philosophy and practice.
- Differentiate servant leadership to other leadership styles.
- Apply components of servant leadership into supervision.
- Identify the benefits of servant leadership within social services.

Workshop Presenters
Anna Yas currently is a Systems of Care Specialist with the Provider Assistance and Training Hub (PATH). She is a LCSW in the state of Illinois. Anna is responsible for providing training, coaching, and field support in Systems of Care, Wraparound, and other curriculum relevant to assisting providers.
Over the past decade, Anna has served in various roles and settings within community-based mental health, ranging from direct support to director, as well as taking on other opportunities such as the role of an Adjunct Professor at DePaul. In these past and current roles Anna has been able to develop creative and flexible frameworks to work with others and meet people where they are at, as well as taken these opportunities to supervise and support others in problem solving in practical and realistic ways for the individual and community. Anna has experience in facilitating trainings around trauma, stress, self-care, creative problem solving, Motivational Interviewing, and cultural humility. She has been working to continuously develop curriculum for Wraparound, and with teams to understand individual needs of providers throughout Illinois.
Niki Grajewski is an LCSW and a System of Care Team Lead with the University of Illinois School of Social work. She holds a Wraparound Practitioner Certificate through the National Center for Innovation and Excellence and currently develops and provides training and coaching on Wraparound Implementation.
Niki is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Illinois. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Worker from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a specialization in Mental Health. Niki has worked extensively to integrate mental health supports into community settings, such as schools, and has worked with community partners to strengthen trauma informed systems of care philosophy and overall support for children and families. Mrs. Grajewski has received certification in several training modalities, that specialize in providing trainings to both direct care providers and clinical staff in the topics of trauma, secondary trauma, self care, positive engagement strategies, positive leadership, systems of care and Wraparound, and various topics related to children’s mental health.
