Advanced Clinical (iMSW Hybrid Program)

The Advanced Clinical concentration equips individuals to do direct practice in a variety of areas, such as; hospitals, schools, mental health facilities, child welfare and adoption agencies.  This concentration is delivered in a hybrid manner: using online technology and face to face weekend sessions.  Policy and research courses are taught as fully online courses with weekly evening collaborate sessions.  Practice courses are designed as hybrid courses with online learning and face to face sessions on the weekend.  The face to face component is typically 4 Saturdays each semester or 2 Saturday/Sunday sessions and can be completed on the Urbana campus or at the Illini Center in Chicago.
