Internship Funding

As part of internship preparation, two funding opportunities are available for consideration. Sharing this information now ensures the Confirmation of Placement form is completed accurately and that important emails with detailed information arriving in the spring are anticipated.

Mark Brandt Memorial Fund

This generous donation provides a small scholarship to students who do not receive any funding related to their internship, such as employment-based income, stipends, or transportation reimbursement. Eligibility is determined based on information from your Confirmation of Placement form.

Details about the scholarship, including the amount (which varies each semester), will be sent via email to qualifying students around the second week of the semester.

Important Notes:

  • To avoid surprises, we strongly recommend contacting the financial aid office to understand how this gift could impact you.
  • The scholarship will first be applied to your student account balance.
  • Depending on your financial aid situation, receiving this scholarship could affect your overall financial aid package. For example, if you have reached your financial aid limit, accepting this scholarship might lead to adjustments in your financial aid awards, potentially resulting in a balance owed.

Fund for Field

This opportunity, made possible through multiple donors, is available to all students currently in their internship.

Around the 4th week of the semester, you will receive an email with details about the application link. The first 20–30 students to apply will be awarded a $100 e-Amazon gift card.
