On-Campus First-Year Student
Our CSWE-accredited on-campus Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign welcomes first-year students who are ready to turn their passion for helping others into a meaningful career.
Schedule a meeting with our recruitment team to learn more about the admission process, program highlights, and what it’s like to begin your college journey at the Illinois School of Social Work. You can choose an on-campus visit or a virtual session to fit your needs.
On-Campus Transfer BSW Student
If you have already completed some college coursework at another institution and want to complete your degree on-campus at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, you may be eligible to apply to the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program as a transfer student.

Online Transfer BSW Student
The Online BSW program allows community college graduates and transfer students with junior standing (60 hours of college credit) to earn a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree online through a combination of both online courses and in-person internship placements in or around the student’s home community.

Intercollegiate Transfer (ICT) Student
Students who are currently enrolled in another major or classified as undeclared at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign can apply to the School of Social Work as an Intercollegiate Transfer (ICT).
All VIRTUAL sessions will be held via ZOOM and you will receive a zoom link to the email you provided following the completion of this form.

- Wednesday, December 3rd @ 3:00PM – 4:00PM (Virtual)
