The School of Social Work is seeking one energetic, outgoing, and motivated undergraduate social work student and one graduate social work student to join our team.

As a Social Media Intern, you will:
- Collaborate with our communications team to create engaging and trending content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
- Interview and spotlight students, alumni, faculty, and staff through videos, photos, and written content.
- Attend School of Social Work events to capture content and share the impact of our community.
- Help identify social media trends and creative ideas that resonate with current and prospective students.
- Foster a sense of community by highlighting the people, programs, and stories that make social work meaningful.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Comfortable engaging with others and initiating conversations.
- Confident appearing in and creating short-form video content.
- Creative, reliable, and organized.
- Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends.
- Able to work independently while collaborating with a team.
Details
- Compensation: $15-18 per hour
- Start Date: August 24
- Experience: General knowledge of and regular use of social media platforms.
- Work Hours: Flexible, with a standing weekly meeting and occasional event coverage. Most interns work between 2–10 hours per week.
