About
Educational/Professional Background
Gail Tittle holds an MSW from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has over 20 years of social work experience and has extensive and diverse expertise in child welfare administration, management, and direct practice, staff supervision, research, analysis, and writing. She worked at the Children and Family Research Center (CFRC) for 10 years and is now serving as a Research Program Specialist for the Center for Prevention Research and Development (CPRD).
Research/Practice Interests
Ms. Tittle’s research has focused on program evaluation, child welfare training, foster care placement decision-making, child maltreatment, and reentry into foster care.
Current Projects
Ms. Tittle is currently the program coordinator for an evaluation of community-based teen pregnancy programs. She develops and implements the evaluation plan; manages data collection; trains and provides technical assistance to local communities and program sites; and prepares reports to funding agencies.
