Jared Day, Field Specialist, BH Provider Assistance and Training Hub (PATH); provides training and field support pertaining to IM+CANS, IM-CAT & Crisis Safety Planning, Treatment Planning, and other curriculum relevant to assisting providers obtain skills necessary to help individuals make meaningful lifestyle changes using the TCOM philosophy and framework. Jared holds a master’s in counseling and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LCPC) and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CADC). Prior to his role as Field Specialist with University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana
School of Social Work, Jared worked in various roles at an MCO with both members and providers. In addition, he has worked in a sliding scale fee methadone clinic and helped build and worked in a program that focused on helping emerging adults with behavioral health issues adjust to living independently. Lastly, he maintain a small private practice specializing in working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
