Rachelle Nickey

Rachelle began her career at the School of Social work in 2013 in the Academic Programs unit, where she worked with our undergraduate social work students for six years. In 2019, after receiving her Master’s Degree in Education (Ed.M.) with a Human Resource Development concentration at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, she began her professional career in human resources. She is also a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) with the Society for Human Resource Management. As an HR Coordinator, Rachelle is responsible for managing all aspects of the human resource functions for the School of Social Work, including but not limited to, employment processing and onboarding, policy interpretation and application, managing all search processes for hiring, and employee relations consultation.
