The Light of Hope project of Catholic Charities (Peoria Diocese) invites applications for a full-time Social Work Case Manager for Champaign County (IL). We seek a compassionate, experienced and energetic social work case manager committed to assisting those in need, including immigrants toward self-sufficiency and a higher quality of life.
The focus of our work targets primarily, but not exclusively, low-income, noncitizen families, individuals and unaccompanied minors.
Responsibilities: The Social Work Case Manager will train, support and guide volunteers to use a strengths perspective to assist those being served to navigate successfully the legal, economic, social, and educational challenges faced in their community. The Social Work Case Manager will also promote collaboration with other organizations to facilitate the attainment of the goals set by each individual.
Remuneration: Salary and benefits will be commensurate with the experience and vision of the candidate.
Requirements: MSW and LCSW or equivalent; Spanish language skills; Experience: minimum of 2 years of experience, but not limited only to working with noncitizen, low-income immigrants.
