Job description

The Federal Correctional Institution in Greenville, Illinois, is located approximately 50 miles northeast of St. Louis. There is a new Psychology Services program being activated at our institution that will focus on providing group and individual counseling to young inmates serving lengthy sentences. I’m reaching out to share the job posting with you in hopes you know of some recent alumni from your graduate program that may be interested in working as a treatment specialist in this program. The salary ranges from $65,597 to $85,281. Staff working for the Federal Bureau of Prisons enjoy early law enforcement retirement with pension, excellent health insurance, and plentiful annual and sick leave. The Psychology Services department supports masters-level clinicians who pursue clinical licensure. FCI Greenville is an eligible site for federal student loan repayment for licensed behavioral health clinicians under the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment program. The program provides $50,000 toward student loan repayment for an initial two-year service agreement with options to continue service following the completion of the initial agreement.
