Job description
Position Overview:
- Serves as a member of the Mobile Crisis Response Team.
- Completes assessments of clients in crisis within the community to determine risk, provide support, and facilitate stabilization in the community or via a higher level of care.
- Completes de-escalation of clients with acute symptoms.
- Completes clinical assessments and treatment plans for clients experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
- Completes referrals for follow up from crisis intervention services to outpatient services or to inpatient psych facilities, as needed.
- Works after hours on a rotating evening and weekend schedule.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy or Human Services
- Bachelor’s Degree in like field with 2 years’ work experience in a Behavioral Health setting
- High School Diploma and 5 years working experience in clinical role in a behavioral health setting
