Jamie Stevens Counseling Services is a private practice clinic in Champaign, Illinois specializing in working with the neurodiverse and their families. There is a significant need for a therapist that is willing to work with children with neurodiversity and their families. This therapist will be offering parent training, self-regulation strategies, social skills teaching, and overall mental health improvement strategies. Training will be provided.

Therapists will be trained to do both ADHD and autism assessments. Therapists will also receive specialized training in working with ADHD and autism. Prior experience working with this population is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided.

Tasks include:

Diagnosis (after appropriate training is complete)

Treatment Planning

Ongoing Treatment

Parent Training

Scheduling

Documentation

Support with IEP’s, work accommodation plans, and college support recommendations

This position offers the opportunity to create your own schedule (within guidelines). Therapist will be expected to complete at least 16-25 sessions a week on average. Therapist will have the opportunity to work in-person and via telehealth at home (hybrid model).
