Seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to provide leave coverage at the Intermediate School. The School Social Worker will support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral well-being to enhance academic success and overall development. This role involves collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive appropriate services and interventions.Qualifications & Requirements
- Required: Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, special education laws, and student support services
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
