Due 11/30/25: Call for Papers: Promoting Civic Health Equity
Health Promotion Practice (HPP) has been committed to eliminating health disparities, achieving health equity, addressing social determinants of health, and advancing evidence-based health promotion practice. With this foundational commitment to equity and justice, HPP invites you to submit a Practice Notes, Resources, Frameworks, & Perspectives, Career Development, or Research Briefs manuscript for this special call focused on promoting civic health equity.
Due 11/30/25: Call for Papers: Disability and Sexual Justice.
Disabled people face obstacles when accessing quality services, contributing to significant disparities that compromise and undermine disabled people’s ability to exercise their sexual rights. In light of this, the journal Women’s Reproductive Health is launching a special issue on Disability and Sexual Justice.
Due 11/30/25: Call for Papers: Social Development Issues
This special issue of Social Development Issues will highlight research and analysis that critically engage with the Summit’s objectives, themes, and policy implications, offering insights into its potential impact on national and international social development strategies. Proposals for complete papers should follow these sections as applicable to the proposed paper: Objective, Literature Review, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Paper proposals should outline the research focus, key arguments, and relevance to the 2025 Summit. Proposals should not exceed 1000 words (2-4 pages with references and an abstract of 50 words).

Due 12/31/25: Call for Papers: LGBTQ+ Health Equity in Health Promotion Pedagogy
Pedagogy in Health Promotion invites submissions for a future collection focused on advancing LGBTQ+ inclusion, equity, and well-being through education and training in health promotion. They seek manuscripts that explore inclusive and justice-centered approaches to teaching, training, and workforce development related to LGBTQ+ health.
Due 1/7/2026: Call for Articles: The New Asylum Seekers: Subnational Dynamics of Migration Governance in the United States
Prospective contributors should submit a CV and an abstract (up to two pages in length, single or double-spaced) of their study along with up to three pages of supporting material (e.g., tables, figures, pictures, etc.) no later than 5 PM EST on January 7, 2026.
