Carol Wilson-Smith

Carol Wilson-Smith graduated with a BSW in 1995. She worked in various social service agencies with the elderly population until she returned to school to work toward her MSW. Carol completed her MSW, specializing in school social work, at the University of Illinois in 2000. Soon after graduation, Carol moved to Iowa City, Iowa where she worked as a school social worker for 8 years. Carol worked in a very diverse school which allowed her to gain experience working with children and families from many backgrounds. Carol is a licensed clinical social worker and holds a Type 73 certificate, as well as being a licensed school social worker in the state of Iowa.

Most recently, Carol worked as a therapist with children, adults, and families at a local agency. She was also the clinical supervisor for the counseling department.
