Provider Assistance and Training Hub (PATH)

Welcome to the Provider Assistance & Training Hub (PATH).  Originally launched in 2018  as the IM+CANS Training Office, PATH is now a behavioral health Training and Technical Assistance Center.    PATH’s mission is to train and support community providers with the implementation of new tools, like the IM+CANS, and other new services, as part of the overall Illinois behavioral health transformation.  PATH is a partnership between the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), the School of Social Work at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and the Office of Medicaid Innovation.

Coming Soon:   Medicaid Technical Assistance Center (MTAC) Virtual Training Platform

The University of Illinois School of Social Work Provider Assistance and Training Hub (PATH) Team is excited to announce we are moving to Adobe Learning Manager (Captivate Prime) on July 1, 2022 to better serve our behavioral health providers.

The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) in partnership with the University of Illinois School of Social Work PATH team provides technical and clinical training and assistance to Illinois providers desiring to serve Medicaid eligible individuals.

PATH’s mission is to train and support community providers with the implementation of tools and services, as part of the overall Illinois behavioral health transformation.  As of July 1, 2022, the new Medicaid Technical Assistance Center (MTAC) Virtual Training Platform will be the source for training schedules and courses previously accessed on the School of Social Work platform.
