The 2023 Exploring Social Work: Community Contributions Day Program is designed for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are considering a career in social work.

The in-person day program has been created for those seeking to be change agents in their communities whether that be through volunteering, fighting for social justice, or advocating for another human rights cause! Participants will get to meet and learn from current professors and practicing social workers and participate in a community service project.

Program Cost:

$50 per student

Itinerary Excerpt:

  • 9-9:30 am: Check-in
  • 9:30-10:30 am: Introductions & What is Social Work Activity
  • 10:30 am-12 pm: Group Activity
  • 12-1 pm: Lunch
  • 1-3 pm: Community Service Project
  • 3-3:30 pm: Wrap up
