Lawanda McGee is the Systems of Care Coordinator for Provider Assistance and Training Hub at University of Illinois School of Social Work. She is responsible for coordinating the efforts of Systems of Care (SOC) Specialists statewide, training and coaching the SOC Specialist team, and providing on-going feedback to improve messaging and delivery.
Lawanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Illinois State University, Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Prior to this role, Lawanda served as a Clinical Manager for a Wraparound Agency. She has spent the last 13 years working with youth, adults, and families across various settings and currently provides individual therapy.
