What I Do
My career began in Crisis Assessment and Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment. Upon completing my MSW, I worked at Carle Hospital as a medical social worker for several years. Later, I worked in a private practice before settling in as a therapist at a clinic treating Eating Disorders. Most recently, I worked as a therapist at UIUC McKinley Health Center. I have a passion for integrative health and mental healthcare.
I serve on the Executive Board for a local group of Social Workers planning Continuing Education opportunities. I have also served on the University of Illinois School of Social Work’s Community Engagement Advisory Board.
Education
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Augustana College, Rock Island, IL. I’m an alum of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign School of Social Work, MSW, Mental Health Concentration.
