Lori Egizio

Dr. Lori Egizio, Field Specialist Coordinator for Provider Assistance and Training Hub at University of Illinois School of Social Work. She is responsible for managing the Field Specialist training team. Lori is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Doctor of Social Work, holds a School Social Work Certification, School Administrative Certification, and is a member of Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers. Beginning her career as a school social worker for 10 years, she then spent 10 years as a Clinical Therapist in a behavioral health hospital. She spent 12 years as an Adjunct Professor and an Assistant Professor and as a therapist providing individual counseling for two years. Her passion lies in the use of Motivational Interviewing to encourage learning and change in clients and trainees.
