Yvonne Shaw

Yvonne Shaw is the Director of Budget and Resource Planning at the School of Social Work. She oversees the administrative staff, who handle finances, grants, contracts, and facilities issues. She functions as a member of the administrative leadership team of the School.

Yvonne has an associate’s degree in accounting from Parkland College, and a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from Eastern Illinois University. She started at the University of Illinois as a Grants and Contracts Administrator in Mechanical Science and Engineering, and prior to coming to Social Work, she was the Assistant Director of Finance in the Siebel School of Computing and Data Science. In her spare time, Yvonne serves as a trustee on her township’s board and volunteers with various dog rescue agencies. She enjoys reading, camping, and traveling.
