Program: Outpatient Services
Education:
- Masters degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university
Licenses/Certifications:
- LSW/LCSW or LCP/LCPC licensure in the state of Illinois (required)
Experience:
- Formal training and experience in addiction counseling (desired)
- Formal training and experience in suicide prevention (desired)
- Formal training and experience in trauma-informed care (required)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual-centered assessment, treatment planning, treatment and referral of clients following crisis intervention.
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental health and substance use challenges.
- Conduct screening, assessment, including risk assessment, and diagnostic activities of severe and persistent multi-axes DSM-V symptomatology.
- Provide outpatient mental health and substance use services; conduct prevention-oriented counseling/psychotherapy, including couples, family and group counseling/psychotherapy.
- Adopt and apply evidence-based practices prioritized by the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) through modern psychotherapeutic approaches.
- Apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations, and apply sound judgement and knowledge to different factual situations.
- Collaborate on individualized treatment regimens with Arukah’s integrative care team members to enhance symptom reduction and treatment to target.
- Participate in integrative group supervision on a weekly basis.
- Function as an effective team member and represent the agency in a professional manner (e.g. attend staff meetings, comply with policy and procedure and operations guidelines.
- Demonstrate accountability for hours of service provided to individuals as well as hours worked.
- Conduct other duties as assigned, as directed by Supervisor, which may include conducting supervision or other functions outside of Outpatient Services.
- Participate in all relevant and necessary activities and trainings in mental health and substance use assessment and treatment approaches that consistent with the direction and the focus of the CCBHC.

Pay:
- Starting at $59,000 (standard license) $64,000 (independently licensed), commensurate with experience
