Hsieh Named CSWE MFP Doctoral Fellow
Wendy Hsieh, a PhD student at the University of Illinois School of Social Work has been selected as the 2021-2022 CSWE Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) doctoral fellow.
The CSWE MFP is a training and professional development award supported by grant funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The fellowship award is for doctoral social work students with a strong commitment to providing behavioral health services to underserved racial/ethnic minority populations. The award includes specialized training (in-person and virtual), a monthly stipend, mentorship, and professional development supports.
