Thi Thanh Tuyen Bui

Tuyen Bui received her PhD in Social Work from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her MSW from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She has joined the Center for Prevention Research and Development (CPRD) since 2016. She joined multiple program evaluation teams on substance use prevention and teen pregnancy prevention. Currently, she participates in program evaluation projects that aim to improve treatment for people with opioid use disorders OUD), and substance use prevention. Prior to joining CPRD, she worked as program coordinators and social workers for multiple international projects in Southeast Asia on children’s rights, anti-child trafficking, case management for people with disabilities, and transition services for youth with difficult circumstances.
