The tables below shows the typical time-frame and sequencing for the MSW program and the Advanced Standing program. Please note that these models reflects full-time enrollment, but part-time enrollment is also available.

MSW Model Program

Semester 1: Summer Foundation Course Work: 1 class – Human Behavior in Social Environment (SOCW 451) 1 class – Practice Methods (SOCW 400)
Semester 2: Fall Foundation Course Work: 1 class - Research (SOCW 427) 1 class – Policy (SOCW 410)
Advanced Course Work Options: 1 class – Advanced Methods (choices) 1 class – Policy (SOCW 589 or SOCW 584) 1 class- HBSE (SOCW 552)
