May is Mental Health and Trauma Awareness Month. The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign School of Social Work and BHWELL program are proud to partner with the Illinois Light Initiative and others across Illinois to raise awareness around mental health and trauma. In June of 2021, Illinois declared itself a Trauma-Informed and Healing-Centered State. Join the movement to raise awareness on the effects of trauma and the importance of healing-centered policies.
