CLL Student Hourly Position

The School of Social Work is seeking to hire asocial work student (BSW or MSW) to provide supportive services for the School of Social Work Community Learning Lab. This position supports the Community Learning Lab Team led by Katie Shumway and will join an existing team of other social work student workers.

This position would start in the 2023 summer semester and has the potential continue into future semesters –approximately 15 hours a week.

Duties and Qualifications

Duties:

  • Maintaining professional email, phone, and in-person communication with campus partners, community partners, and students
  • Assist with organizing information and data in programs such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
  • Utilizing Qualtrics to check and review survey responses
  • Creating Qualtrics surveys on an as-needed basis
  • Creating/updating CLL resources, templates, and training documents
  • Taking meeting notes
  • Organizing and leading internal team meetings
  • Assisting with event planning
  • Provide social media support to the School of Social Work
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the School of Social Work and University curriculum, resources, and services
  • Knowledge of the community and social service agencies
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and have advanced skills in Excel
  • Friendly, outgoing, positive attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work ethically with confidential information
  • Flexible schedule (some evenings/weekends may be required)
  • Good academic-standing
